Day 1: Your adventure begins with a warm welcome upon arrival at the Lodge in Chitwan. After checking into your accommodation, enjoy a briefing about the park’s diverse wildlife and the exciting activities planned for the coming days. Explore Tharu Village, relax and settle in, and prepare for the thrilling experiences ahead.
Day 2: Start your day with an exhilarating full-day Jeep safari. This guided safari takes you deep into the heart of Chitwan National Park, where you’ll have the chance to spot Tigers, Rhinoceroses, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Gaur (The Wild Bison), and other wildlife in their natural habitat. The thrill of encountering these magnificent creatures up close is an experience you won’t forget.
Day 3: Today, enjoy a serene canoeing ride along the Rapti River. This peaceful journey allows you to observe aquatic life in the River and the local way of life. Keep your eyes open for crocodiles and diverse bird and fish species. After a short walk to the lodge, take a cycling tour through the beautiful villages and farms into the forest. This is especially enjoyable and interesting during the months of November and December when mustard fields are in bloom. Our guided cycling tours, led by expert nature guides, provide a unique and exhilarating way to fully experience the natural and cultural wonders of Chitwan.
Day 4: On your final day, enjoy a leisurely bird-watching tour along the river and a hearty breakfast before departing with unforgettable memories of your Chitwan National Park adventure.
Best Time to Visit
The ideal time for a Chitwan Jungle Safari is between October and March. During these months, the weather is agreeable, and the park is at its most lively. While April and May experience temperatures reaching up to 40°C in mid-day. Exploring the jungle may be less comfortable, but there’s a greater chance of spotting wildlife during the early morning and late afternoon. The monsoon season, from June to September, brings heavy rains that can affect accessibility and park activities.
