We have organized group treks for groups of 8-10 people through Ambar and each time he has managed all of the arrangements perfectly. He has planned and organized the treks and all of the associated travel and accommodation bookings professionally, and we have had a worry-free trekking experience.

The true test of a guide is when things go wrong. On one occasion we were in the unfortunate position where a member of our party required a medical evacuation and he coordinated this in a very professional and caring way.

We always feel safe organizing group treks through Ambar because of the great team he puts together to support our trekkers, the care he takes to make sure our porters are well equipped and treated with respect and his excellent first aid skills.

Trekking with Ambar and his team is a great experience. It’s like walking with friends. He researches his treks thoroughly and has taken us to places that we know other trekkers we have met on the trail have missed out on. And when the trek is over he organizes tours and travel back in Kathmandu or Pokhara to make sure that our whole holiday is a memorable one. We can’t recommend Ambar too highly.
