Views are more open as you get higher. The easy path, you will enjoy a superb view of the Himalayan peaks all around you.
Kyanjin Gompa is the last village of Langtang valley; where we take a day rest for acclimatizing. From this beautiful village can see astonishing mountains view, Yaks and Naks are grazing around the village and has a cheese factory and old little Buddhist Gompa. After good rest in Kyanjin Gompa, we trek toward to Naya Kanga Peak, crossing the Langtang Khola (river) to Naya Kanga Base Camp. Naya Kanga is visible from Kyanjin Gompa. It is an attractive, always snowy peak rising to the west of the Ganja-La (5,122m).
From both Ganja-La and the summit of Naya Kanga there are spectacular panoramic views of mountains in Nepal and Tibet, including Langshisa Ri (6,370m), Pemthang Ri (6,836m), Shisapangma (8,046m), Langtang Lirung (7,425m), Pemthang Kapro Ri (6,830m), and Langtang II (7,227m).
The normal route of ascent to Naya Kanga is via north-east ridge over a line on ice and snow. It is a technical and challenging peak, requiring previous climbing experience, physical fitness, determination, and personal commitment. Our climbing guide conducts climbing training sessions before you start your ascent. This training includes instructions in the use of crampons, ice axes, and ropes, ensuring you have the skills and confidence necessary for a successful climbing experience.
